Our paper, "Parental spoken scaffolding and narrative skills in crowd-sourced storytelling samples of young children" was accepted for the 2021 Interspeech conference. The paper arose after the team noticed that in our crowd-sourced language samples, parents were often heard. We wanted to know more about whether there were any relationships between the parental involvement and the language performance of the children. During this time we had Zhengjun Yue in the team. Zhengjun Yue is a PhD student at the University of Sheffield and worked at Therapy Box as part of the TAPAS programme. TAPAS is a Horizon 2020 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Innovative Training Network European Training Network (MSCA-ITN-ETN) We look forward to sharing the paper shortly.
